The End is a bold new theatrical experiment from The Old Trout Puppet Workshop, created in collaboration with Mike Rinaldi. Rather than presenting traditional puppetry, the production invites audiences into an act of imagination through what the creators describe as “micro-puppetry”—or perhaps “sound puppetry.”
The story centers on an impossible premise: the day that Death met Death. The puppets themselves are so unimaginably small that they cannot be seen. Instead, the audience experiences the performance through meticulously crafted sound, evocative narration, and their own imagination, creating vivid mental images of an invisible world unfolding before them.
