Hello Neighbour! was a solo show at Pith Gallery, during the Calgary Stampede 2012. The idea came from the garage that I was working in at the time and how it was used as a carriage workshop in the early ages of Calgary. The carriage that I built was from found materials within bicycle distance of the workshop. Over the course of the show I dismantled the carriage piecemeal and transported it to the gallery by bicycle trailer, where I re-assembled it. Imagining that it had been conducted there by some kind of particle transport beam from a science fiction movie. Hello Neighbour! was about how different eras in our history share ideas from past, present and future to create our current reality.
